Album of The Day: 2026

This year, I decided that I was going to listen to a random album from my collection each day. I pick the album using the Discographic all on my iPhone, which is linked to my Discogs account.

There are a couple of rules for the random albums:

1. No Skips. The album is inevitable
2. No Repeats. There will be 365 unique albums
3. No Compilations. Only releases with original material
4. No Classical. Classical music is not always "easy" background music—it deserves respect and attention

At the time of writing, there are 597 non-classical CD's in my collection—quite a few which I'll admit I haven't listened to yet, or I haven't listened to in a while. I have such a vast, curated selection of music that I find it very fun to dig in like this and be surprised by old favourites and "I can't believe I had this!"
